At the Vigiano Room at Floyd Bennett Field, ULA Network Foundation brought the Vets4Vets Community Construction Project to a space honoring a family whose legacy of service spans generations.
Established in 2024, the Vigiano Room honors NYPD Detective Joseph Vincent Vigiano and his brother, FDNY Firefighter John T. Vigiano II, both of whom lost their lives on September 11, 2001. The room also recognizes Joseph’s three sons, who went on to serve as U.S. Marines, continuing a family tradition of service. Located within a site with its own deep military history, the room provides a meaningful space to remember that legacy and the generations who have carried it forward.
The Vets4Vets project brought union veterans, apprentices, and skilled tradespeople together to lend their time and skills to a space rooted in service and remembrance. The ULA Network was honored to be part of that effort.
ULA Network Foundation was proud to bring the Vets4Vets Community Construction Project to John F. Prince VFW Post 6478, helping restore a place deeply rooted in the history and service of its community.
Named in honor of Pfc. John F. Prince, a Queens Marine who gave his life during World War II, the post continues his legacy by providing a gathering place for veterans today. It also serves as the home of the IBEW Local 3 Veterans Club, connecting generations of union veterans through camaraderie, support, and service.
